			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Power of a Hand-Written Note</p>
<p>Sometimes, the most effective things that you can do as a manager are also the easiest. The trouble is, many of us don&#8217;t take the time to do these simple things.</p>
<p>We are all so busy, constantly juggling priorities and putting out fires while attempting to hit our team and corporate goals. We move from one success or failure to the next and often miss the opportunities to simply say thanks in a meaningful way.</p>
<p>You want to make someone&#8217;s day, and possibly their week? Try giving them a hand-written thank you note. Notice, I said a note. Not an email, and especially not a text. How many emails do you get in an average day? Now, stop to think about how many hand-written thank you notes you get.</p>
<p>There is something inherently more meaningful about a handwritten note. Something that makes us feel that the message is more important, more sincere, more personal, or more permanent.</p>
<p>So, take 10 minutes out of your insanely busy schedule (we all can find the time if we try), and write a personal note to someone on your team. That 10 minutes can literally change everything (not a bad return on investment if you ask me).</p>
